Vex Robotics
My journey in my school’s VEX robotics team started in 2018 when I was in grade 8. In my team, I was elected as team lead and also took on the role of driver on top of building and occasionally coding the robot, although we did have a main coder on the team as well.

In grade 9 and the years after I relinqueshed the driver position to someone with better skills than I, and focused on maintaining a healthy work environment for my team. In the environment I helped foster, my team ended up winning the judge’s design award in 2019 and 2020.

Just last year, we were able to win a regional tournament and qualify to compete in the provincial championship.
